Sometime prepaid credit cards are the only way to go. If your having a lot of trouble getting approved for a regular teen or student credit card you may want to look further into them. They are commonly available at your local bank. Here are my reviews for prepaid credit cards.

Annual Cost: N/A (I like this because if you make a decent amount of money, but have no credit, you have a higher credit line resulting in faster credit building)
Wired Plastic Prepaid Visa Card	APR: N/A Annual Fee: $48 Application Fee: $9.95 Payment Period: 20 Days Max. Credit Line: N/A Est. Annual Cost: N/A (The only back draw I see in this card is the "participation fee" which is $48 a year)
All Access Visa	APR: N/A Annual Fee: $0 Application Fee: $9.95 Payment Period: 20 Days Max. Credit Line: $5,000 Est. Annual Cost: $9.95 for first year (A simple, easy to understand plan)
